This role is full-time hybrid role at our Brooklyn Park, MN headquarters and our selected candidate will be committed to working a hybrid onsite schedule 3 days per week.
The Role
The Professional Education Manager plays an important role in the commercialization of Barostim, helping ensure HCP awareness of the growing body of evidence supporting Barostim’s inclusion in the HF continuum and ensuring that awareness translates into action. This role sits within the marketing team, partnering primarily with HCP marketing, Advocacy & Engagement, Sales and Clinical Affairs to plan and execute medical education through a variety of channels, ensuring effectiveness while also operating within appropriate compliance and regulatory parameters.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Bring awareness to the clinical evidence supporting Barostim’s position in the heart failure continuum through development and execution of professional education activities, including conference symposia, HCP programs, local and national webinars, and new programs as needed.
- Develop scalable processes to plan, execute, and monitor HCP education programs, including national and local physician and referrer education activities.
- Orchestrate speaker nomination processes in alignment with applicable regulations, maintaining a roster of HCPs fluent in relevant historical and newly-published data, training HCPs to deliver this clinical information factually and effectively.
- Develop and maintain compliance mechanisms to ensure utmost compliance with Advamed and CVRx standards on physician interactions and contracts, training the field on related processes and partnering with legal and compliance as appropriate.
- Partner with Downstream Marketing on execution of marketing campaigns and podium strategy, and with the broader marketing team as needed to execute professional education events.
- Develop strong relationships with the sales organization and healthcare professionals.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (i.e. science, engineering, business, nursing)
- 5+ years of experience in medical education and/or professional relations in the medical devices industry
- Passion for networking within the med device industry, working with HCPs to and generate momentum around novel technologies
- Ability to grasp, understand and educate HCPs regarding clinical evidence of our implantable medical device
- High degree of process and detail orientation, especially around event logistics
- Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills
- Excellent collaborative skills and experience
- Ability to travel up to 50% to support events (via car and air)
- Proper, acceptable and valid I.D. to support travel by airline (nationally and internationally (not frequent))
- Experience in a fast-paced early-stage start-up environment
- Related experience in heart failure, neuromodulation, cardiac rhythm management, electrophysiology and / or class III devices
- Experience in other commercial disciplines, such as sales or marketing
- Hybrid working environment, in normal office conditions, in Minneapolis, MN
- Ability to travel as needed (up to 50%)

Salary range for U.S locations (USD): 165,000 - 180,000 per year
In addition to Base Salary, this position is eligible for a Corporate Bonus Plan (CBP) which provides the opportunity to earn additional compensation for the company’s meeting established annual objectives and prorated based on earned annual base salary.
The base salary range is applicable across the U.S., complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and specific location.
