SUMMARY

Responsible for the dual purpose of managing daily branch operations and driving aggressive business growth. This role focuses on acquiring new commercial and high-net-worth retail relationships, increasing deposit market share, and originating loans, while simultaneously leading branch staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing the bank’s community presence.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Branch Manager:

Manage the day-to-day operations of the branch including all Banker functions such as paying and receiving teller transactions, opening new accounts, making referrals of BancFirst products and all other Personal Banker duties.

Manage the customer service level of the Universal Bankers and Tellers. Extraordinary customer service will be required at all times.

Responsible for coaching, counseling, and disciplinary action of branch personnel.

Hold weekly operational and sales related meetings with all employees.

Conduct monthly score card performance reviews with each employee.

Business Development:

Analyze customer base and current sales strategies and identifying opportunities to increase sales and profits.

Perform market research to identify new opportunities and engage with executives to establish strategies pursuing those new opportunities.

Make external sales calls to potential customers.

Sell bank products including deposit products, treasury services, loans and lines of credit.

Network through community involvement and projects.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 5+ years in financial services, with proven experience in sales, business development, and staff supervision.

Ability to motivate staff and assist in maintaining goals.

Maintain the highest standards of customer service and promptly respond to customer complaints.

Proficient in opening new accounts, servicing accounts, and working in a teller position.

Able to interact with other offices and departments for accurate resolutions to problems/errors, in addition to the timely completion of job tasks.

Flexible and able to work additional hours when crucial to the branch environment.

Customer and Employee conflict management.

Knowledge of sales tools and presentation.

Knowledge of federal, state, and bank policy, procedure and regulations.

Critical thinking skills.

Excellent interpersonal, listening, verbal and written communication skills.

Must be able to work well under stress and deadlines.

Timely completion of compliance training.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.

Successful sales record in a retail banking environment; with knowledge of bank products and services

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Constant use of computer screens and reading of reports.

Ability to operate a computer keyboard, multi-line telephone, photocopier, scanner and facsimile.

Regularly required to sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk, see or hear.

Intermittently standing, stooping, bending at the waist, walking, kneeling or crouching to file materials.

Ability to lift and/or move and carry 10-25 pounds (cash canisters, coin boxes/bags).
