You will serve as the primary representative for the Owner-Architect-Builder team, acting as the strategic lead for high-stakes construction projects. This role grants you the authority to manage multi-million dollar budgets while mentoring the next generation of builders. You will be directly responsible for protecting the companys interests and ensuring every build reflects the "CNA Way" of excellence.
How You Will Make an Impact- Direct the daily operations of on-site staff and Superintendents to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Cultivate harmonious working relationships with Owners and Architects through transparent communication and regular status updates.
- Engineer comprehensive project schedules that integrate design milestones, material lead times, and field installation sequences.
- Evaluate architectural and engineering drawings to identify design deficiencies or code violations before construction begins.
- Forecast project revenue and profitability accurately while managing monthly audits and change order negotiations.
- Mentor Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers to foster a culture of "paying it forward" and professional growth.
- Oversee the entire bidding and buyout process to ensure complete scope coverage and subcontractor accountability.
- Proven experience managing the full lifecycle of commercial or federal construction projects from pre-con to closeout.
- Strong proficiency in budget management, revenue forecasting, and financial project auditing.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise field staff, including Superintendents and administrative support.
- Advanced skills in reading and interpreting complex blueprints, specifications, and contract documents.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to maintain neat, orderly project records and correspondence.
- Experience developing and maintaining a strategic database of subcontractors and specialized vendors.
- Track record of successful business development and client relationship management within the construction industry.
- Familiarity with CNA Standard Operating Procedures or similar rigorous construction management frameworks.
- Advanced technical training in Construction Management or a related engineering field.
