Position Summary

The DevSecOps Engineer will design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines to support cloud-based applications processing Medicaid data. The role integrates security practices into the DevOps lifecycle to ensure reliable, compliant, and scalable deployment of applications and data services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for application and data platform deployments.
  • Integrate security scanning and code quality checks into development workflows.
  • Manage version control and branching strategies to support collaborative development.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and security compliance.
  • Support automated testing and deployment workflows.
  • Collaborate with engineering and security teams to implement DevSecOps best practices.
  • Ensure infrastructure and applications meet CMS and healthcare regulatory requirements.
  • Troubleshoot deployment issues and maintain operational stability of development environments.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience working with CMS systems and/or Medicaid data environments.
  • Experience implementing DevSecOps practices in cloud environments.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • AWS
    • Git
    • Terraform
    • Jenkins
    • SonarQube
    • Pytest
    • GitHub Actions
  • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and automated build processes.
  • Knowledge of secure coding and security scanning tools.
  • Experience with containerized or microservices architectures.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting healthcare or government systems.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA security controls.
  • Experience monitoring and optimizing cloud infrastructure.
