About This Position
Day Shift Monday through Friday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm
PTO upon hire, Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits are offered on the first day of the month after hire, 401(k) after 6 months.
Overview: As a Program Manager at Keel Midwest, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of one or more major programs within the organization, including but not limited to budget, schedule creations, program oversight, communications both internal and with customers, utilizing financial measurement tools, and coordinating manufacturing and quality assurance efforts, all while adhering to the schedule based on the contract. You will perform contract management functions on a day-to-day basis.
Job Functions:
- Solid knowledge of manufacturing systems, product launch, supplier development, inspection, and continuous improvement.
- Engineering background and process development.
- Leadership roles.
- Experience managing employees and complex manufacturing tasks with short deadlines in a highly compressed delivery schedule.
- Solid knowledge of industry specific requirements, standards and specifications.
Physical Demands: Minimal physical stress, but moderate to high mental stress due to the impact position has on customer satisfaction and future business.
Work Environment: Typical office environment. Some time will be spent on the shop floor, so exposure to debris, eye-flash, dust, and moving equipment is to be expected and PPE is required in those instances. Visits both from and to vendors are to be expected.
Requirements:- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business
- Five (5) years of management experience.
- Five (5) years of managing 10+ employees in a production environment preferred.
- Product launch experience preferred.
- Master’s Degree in Engineering or Business preferred.
- Strong experience in expediting, planning, problem solving and executing plans.
- Fluent computer skills including Excel, Word, Visio, Project, etc.
- Ability to track programs through Encompix
- Ability to communicate, organized, self-motivated, and business accounting skills.
- Strong communication skills, exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to write plans and reports.
- Team player, confident, motivated and trustworthy.
- Able to manage deadlines and multitask.
