Position Title: Slots Analyst

Description

**This role is not remote or hybrid. It is 100% in- office in Las Vegas, NV.

Job Overview

The Gaming/Slots Analyst supports the Gaming Ops (GO) Management team using analytics to inform data-driven decisions related to the companys global gaming operations.

Responsibilities

Exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance.
Have the passion and grit to become a gaming industry performance expert
Cultivate communications with Game Operations and Sales teams.
Use Excel to analyze data and summarize/present to stakeholders
Monitor operational policies and procedures to ensure smooth workflow and data quality control including research for Slot Capitol Opportunities

Review all incoming opportunities and review all independent research for each opportunity.
Participate in twice weekly capex reviews prepare all Capex documents and endorsements to Sr leadership and Executive Team for final approval.

Help with education training on Capex process to the Regional Sales Directors (RSD) and Account Executives (AE).

Leverage SQL and PowerBI tools to identify product and market insights

Dashboards, Internal Reports and External Reports

Prepare and maintain monthly internal reports for VP/Dir of Slots and Sales Team
Upkeep of current dashboards and collaborate with BI team for any future updates.
Collaborate with other department teams to ensure data accuracy.
Maintain an installation base unit list of all active units.

Maintain the Footprint and Scorecard List
Manage queue of BI/AI requests from commercial businesses stakeholders
Contribute to monthly and Quarterly Performance analysis
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, sales, marketing, product management, and IT, to ensure alignment and effective collaboration.
Support all commercial departments by efficiently completing daily ad-hoc tasks
Utilize all available resources to be an efficient and effective problem solver
Carry out any projects assigned outside the above-mentioned process by Sr Management and Dir of Slot Analysis

Skills/Requirements

At least 21 years old
Bachelors degree in finance, data analytics, data science, quantitative methods, or business preferred, or equivalent work experience
Proficiency with MS Office Suite particularly MS Excel and PowerBI with advanced knowledge of the functions and abilities withing each software.
Database and Program languages including SQL, R or Python

Communication and Presentation Must be able to effectively communicate and present material to various audiences
Problem Solver and Critical Thinker Use resources and experiences to provide the right solutions
Customer Service Knowledge of principals and processes for providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers
Analytics - Able to analyze data sets in Excel and provide summarized results
Preference for gaming Industry knowledge or desire to learn about the gaming industry

Ability to travel approximately 5%
