About This Position
Job Summary:
The Mechanical Engineer (Analysis) Intern aims to develop a Creo-integrated Mathcad workbook to automate ASCE 7 filing for PE stamping.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Under the guidance of our Lead Structures Engineer (LMTT-Structures)
- Develop a Mathcad workbook
- Develop a process to link FEA output to populate the workbook
- Work with LMTT and PE firm to approve the process
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong oral and written communication skills required.
Good interpersonal skills required to work effectively with others.
Analytical ability to solve complex problems.
Education and Experience:
College undergraduate (or graduate) pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree, or other Civil Engineering degree.
If they have passed the FE exam, this can be used as experience towards the PE licensing.
3D CAD required, CREO desired.
FEA class desired (Ansys preferred).
Must have completed the third year of the undergraduate program.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

The pay range for this position is $20.00 per hour. The base pay offered may vary depending on the position offered, geographic location, education, training, and/or experience.
