Job Summary

JCC is looking for a laborer with equipment operating experience for our heavy civil construction project in Bristol TN. However, open to travel is a plus.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Operate pneumatic and electrical tools, concrete vibrators, compactors, concrete saws, cut-off saws, jackhammers, and heavy equipment

• Dig, spread and level dirt and gravel using a pick and shovel.

• Lift, carry and hold building material, tool and supplies.

• Clean tools, equipment, and work areas.

• Mixes, pour and spreads concrete, asphalt gravel and other material using hand tools.

• Joins, wraps, seals and beds sections of underground pipe and pipe penetrations.

• Must be able to understand verbal instructions.
• Experience in operating heavy equipment such as a trackhoes, backhoes, loaders or excavators a plus.

Qualifications and Skills

• Must have a minimum of 2 years experience on a construction jobsite.
• Must be able to understand verbal instructions.
