Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Control Cage Pharmacy Technician to join our team at a long-term care pharmacy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the control cage, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting the overall operations of the pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee the control cage operations, including inventory management and record-keeping.

- Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations regarding controlled substances.

- Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications as per prescriptions and pharmacy protocols.

- Maintain accurate documentation of controlled substances and report discrepancies as needed.

- Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

- Participate in training and mentoring of new pharmacy staff as required.

- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
