We are seeking a proactive and experienced Scrum Master for a long-term contract position in Columbia, SC. The ideal candidate will play a key role in facilitating Agile delivery processes, coaching team members on Scrum principles, and ensuring continuous improvement and timely delivery of high-quality products and solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate all core Scrum ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure the team adheres to Scrum framework and Agile best practices.
• Promote continuous improvement through regular feedback and retrospective sessions.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to support timely and quality delivery.
• Communicate project updates, risks, and issues clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
• Assist in the integration of hybrid project management approaches (Agile combined with Waterfall when needed).

Required Skills (Ranked in Order of Importance):

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Azure DevOps.
• Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum principles and practices.
• Proven ability to lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with Agile project management tools.
• General conceptual understanding of programming and database querying.
• Experience working in hybrid Agile/Waterfall project environments.

Preferred Skills (Ranked in Order of Importance):

• Deeper conceptual understanding of programming and DB querying.
• Agile certifications, such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
• Government project experience (preferred but not required).
• ERP systems experience is a plus.
