About the RoleBohler is seeking a National Account Director to oversee the health, performance, and growth of our national accounts in the land development (AEC) consulting space. This leadership role blends strategic relationship management with operational excellence, ensuring our clients receive seamless, high-quality service across geographies and disciplines. You’ll collaborate closely with executives and cross-functional teams to expand services, support growth initiatives, and guide national strategy and delivery while maintaining long-term client satisfaction.
This is a remote position open to candidates located within Bohler’s geographic footprint.
What You’ll Do
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned national accounts.
  • Develop account plans and strategies to achieve revenue targets and client objectives.
  • Understand client challenges and tailor solutions that align with Bohler’s capabilities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, addressing needs with speed and care.
  • Partner with internal teams, including operations, technology, and marketing to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to expand services, geographies, and partnerships.
  • Track performance metrics, ensure profitability, and implement improvements.
  • Conduct strategic client meetings and check-ins to strengthen relationships.
  • Maintain client standards and review deliverables for quality and consistency.
  • Collaborate with regional leaders to align initiatives and share best practices.

What You’ll Bring
  • 10+ years of experience in engineering, project management, business development, or client strategy.
  • Experience managing national or multi-regional land development and AEC client relationships (e.g., retailers, developers, owners) would be a plus.
  • Strong understanding of one or more of Bohler’s service lines (civil engineering, survey, landscape architecture, etc.).
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with senior decision-makers.
  • Ability to lead complex client strategies and drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Analytical mindset with a passion for innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.

Pay TransparencyActual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as skills, qualifications, and experience.The base pay range for this role is $175,000 – $210,000 per year.
