About This Position

Top Tier Reps is partnering with a prestigious national law firm seeking a talented Litigation Associate to join its top-ranked Employee Defection and Trade Secrets Practice. This role offers the opportunity to work in one of the firm’s major offices located in Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Irvine, or New York. Candidates must reside within commuting distance of one of these offices, as occasional in-person collaboration is expected.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and litigate complex restrictive covenant and trade secret disputes across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Draft and argue motions, including injunctions and preliminary relief, to protect client interests.
  • Oversee expedited discovery, including coordinating with computer forensics and e-discovery teams to gather critical evidence.
  • Conduct depositions, interviews, and investigations to support case strategy.
  • Provide strategic legal advice to clients on enforcement and defense of restrictive covenants and trade secret rights.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop and implement effective litigation strategies.
  • Handle all phases of litigation from pleadings to trial preparation and settlement negotiations.
  • Manage multiple cases simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of legal work.

Key Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of litigation experience focused on restrictive covenants and trade secrets.
  • Proven ability to handle injunction motions, expedited discovery, depositions, and e-discovery, including working with computer forensic experts.
  • Strong academic credentials and excellent writing, research, and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school and active bar membership in the relevant state.

Additional Requirements

  • Must reside within reasonable commuting distance of one of the listed office locations.
  • While the role offers flexibility, in-person collaboration is expected as necessary to support team and client needs.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary ranging from $200,000 to $235,000, depending on location and experience, plus bonus opportunities.
