Compassionate Caregivers needed in the Coatesville area at Visiting Angels of Jenkintown – Coatesville, Pennsylvania

Visiting Angels is looking for wonderful Caregivers in the Coatesville, PA area to join our team. The Caregiver is responsible for the physical care and emotional support of our clients who may no longer be able to take care of themselves due to age, illness, injury, surgery, or disability.

The ideal candidate must be able to care for our clients and their property with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect. This person will encourage and remain empathetic to the clients at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Home assistance – Provide light housekeeping, run errands or provide transportation if needed. Accompany clients to appointments and assist with medications. Prepare meals, purchase food and provide personal assistance with general living needs. Personal services could include toileting, bathing, feeding and grooming.
• Companionship – Provide companionship and conversation by stimulating, encouraging and assisting an individual.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a valid drivers license and own vehicle
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening
• Two (2) years of professional work as a DC, HHA, PCA, CNA, and/or DSP preferred.
• Dementia and Hospice care experience is a plus.
• Completed or ability to complete a TB test (2-Step PPD, QuantiFERON or chest x-ray)
• Compassion and love for the senior community.
