Who: We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented tax professional with 5+ years of federal and state tax experience who is motivated by growth and interested in complex international real estate taxation.
What: You will manage partnership and individual tax engagements, lead staff development, conduct technical research, oversee compliance for real estate investment structures, and support client service and business development initiatives.
When: This is a full-time position available for immediate hire.
Where: Based in our confidential client’s Atlanta, GA office; on-site presence is strongly preferred.

Position Overview:
The Tax Manager will oversee real estate-focused tax engagements for international investors, manage compliance and review processes, develop team members, and provide high-quality service for clients investing in U.S. commercial, residential, and mixed-use real estate assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review federal and state partnership and non-resident individual income tax returns.
- Manage team members and project workflows to meet tax deadlines.
- Perform technical tax research on federal and state issues, including real estate-specific topics.
- Maintain active and clear communication to manage client expectations.
- Support staff development through training, mentoring, and performance feedback.
- Delegate effectively, set goals, and provide resources to ensure team success.
- Collaborate with partners and senior leadership on proposals and business development.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of federal and state income tax experience, preferably in public accounting.
- Experience preparing and reviewing partnership and individual tax returns.
- Strong technical review and project management skills.
- BA/BS in Accounting or a Master’s in Accounting/Taxation.
- CPA or similar certification required.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6–7 years of experience with tax compliance for real estate private equity investments.
- Expertise in real estate taxation involving commercial, residential, and mixed-use assets.
- Experience with ProSystem fx Engagement and CCH Axcess.
- Strong background in partnership taxation and technical real estate research.
