About This Position
1. Expected to maintain a valid CDL license with airbrake endorsement.
2. Expected to maintain a valid DOT physical card. 3. Ability to understand, demonstrate and explain safe vehicle operations to others. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Experience: - Minimum of 2 years driving a semi-truck. Education: - High school diploma or equivalent. Physical Requirements: The work requires minor physical exertion such as short periods of standing, walking over rough uneven surfaces, some recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities. Job may require recurring lifting of lightweight objects with infrequent bending or stooping alternating with the lighter activities. Job requires minimal agility and dexterity. Occasional exposure to objectionable conditions or variations such as those found in variable weather conditions or light industrial settings. Wages/Other:The hourly rate for the CDL Driving Assistant (PT) is $20.00.

License and School Bus Training Program as a Part-Time Driving Assistant. You will put your driving experience to work, by supporting students as they learn to drive under real-world conditions. You will coach students through safety inspections, essential driving skills such as turning, navigating curves, and backing maneuvers. Candidates must possess a Class A or B Commercial Drivers License with an air brake endorsement, an S and P endorsement is preferred. A valid Kansas Department of Transportation physical card is also required. Individual(s) hired will be required to pass a pre-employment drug test and will be subject to random drug testing as required by the Kansas Department of Transportation.
