Position Overview

We are seeking a Regional Director of Clinical Services to provide leadership and oversight to our skilled nursing facility (SNF) clinical teams across an assigned region. This role ensures high-quality patient care, compliance with regulatory standards, and alignment with AHC’s mission of delivering perfect patient experiences. The Regional Director will travel frequently within the region to support facility leaders, monitor performance, and foster a culture of excellence.

Reports to: Vice President of Clinical Services

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee clinical services and operations across assigned SNF facilities.
  • Partner with senior operations leadership and the AHC executive team to achieve company goals.
  • Monitor and support facility performance to ensure exceptional patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Maintain current knowledge of laws, regulations, and CMS standards.
  • Support facilities through survey processes and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.
  • Provide onboarding, training, and ongoing support for Directors of Nursing (DONs).
  • Assist in recruitment, hiring, and performance management of clinical personnel.
  • Promote employee engagement, retention, and professional growth.
  • Address patient and family concerns with professionalism and empathy.
  • Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for facility leaders.

Requirements:
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license and eligibility for multi-state licensure.
  • Significant leadership experience in skilled nursing facility (SNF) clinical operations.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 12–15 days per month within a multi-state region.
  • Willingness and ability to relocate if necessary.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent travel (air and car) and on-site facility presence.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, and reach.
  • Must be able to perform duties typical of a licensed Registered Nurse.
