Evening shifts Tues, Thurs, Fri (5–9 PM) and Saturdays (10 AM–6 PM).

About the Position:

As a Grocery Associate at Pilgrim's Market, you will play a crucial role in serving our community by ensuring that our grocery department runs smoothly. Your responsibilities will include unloading freight, organizing stock, and providing excellent customer service to create a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Unload freight and break down mixed pallets for efficient stocking.
• Fill shelves, face products, and maintain cleanliness in aisles.
• Provide exceptional floor customer service, assisting with grocery carry-out requests.
• Answer customer phone calls and effectively communicate and fulfill special order requests.
• Organize and manage stock to ensure product availability and presentation.

Essential Requirements:

• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Flexible availability to meet the needs of the department.
• Willingness to ask questions and continuously learn about the store and industry.
• Strong work ethic and dependable with consistent availability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional appearance and ability to represent Pilgrim's Market positively.
• Capability to safely handle common food allergens, including wheat, dairy, eggs, shellfish, nuts, and peanuts.
• Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback for personal and team growth.
• Physical ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. repeatedly and perform repetitive tasks such as stooping, bending, crouching, and overhead lifting.
• Ability to work on your feet for the entire shift and safely work on a ladder.
• Comfort working in cold environments for extended periods.
• Proficient in operating equipment such as phones, balers, box cutters, pallet jacks, ladders, and utility carts/u-boats.
