Job Summary:

The Tubing and Labeling Associate plays a vital role in preparing finished CNC-machined parts for shipment. This position involves carefully packaging parts (often in protective tubing or sleeves), labeling them accurately, and ensuring everything meets both customer and internal quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely and accurately package finished parts using tubing, wrapping, or custom containers as needed
• Label parts and packaging with job numbers, quantities, customer info, and specifications
• Inspect each part for cleanliness, correct finish, and accurate dimensions before packaging
• Maintain packaging and labeling equipment in good working order
• Work closely with machinists, quality control, and shipping team to meet deadlines
• Keep work area clean and organized following shop safety protocols

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Strong attention to detail and pride in precision
• Ability to read and understand job travelers and labeling requirements
• Comfortable working with small components and protective materials

Physical & Work Environment

• Regular lifting up to 60 lbs, standing, walking, and using computers
• Moderate manufacturing noise levels
• Fast-paced setting with frequent changes in workload
• Requires focus, teamwork, and adaptability
