This role leads design initiatives across high-profile accounts, driving creative strategy, visual storytelling, and design excellence. The Associate Creative Director will elevate both the craft and quality of design solutions while mentoring and guiding other designers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define brand character, produce compelling digital and social content, and deliver visually engaging presentations. This position requires a hands-on approach, balancing leadership with active participation in creative execution. You will shape design practices, influence creative direction, and ensure innovative, world-class output that meets client needs and industry standards. The role operates in a fast-paced, collaborative, and entrepreneurial environment with opportunities for impact across diverse projects.
- Lead the creation and execution of original, persuasive, and visually compelling design work across campaigns, social media, video, brand materials, and presentations
- Establish and oversee a design practice within the creative team, fostering collaboration, experimentation, and knowledge sharing
- Mentor and guide designers to elevate skills, creativity, and professional growth
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to define brand identity, style guidelines, and strategic design direction
- Maintain awareness of industry trends, emerging platforms, and interactive design best practices
- Ensure the highest quality standards and consistency across all design outputs
- Actively participate in design execution while providing leadership and creative guidance
Requirements:
- Proven track record in digital, video, and campaign design
- Expert knowledge of social media and design best practices
- At least 5 years of experience in creative, advertising, marketing, or PR industries, including leading design teams
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, PowerPoint; knowledge of AfterEffects and Sketch is a plus
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling, brand development, and creative strategy
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Resilience, positivity, and a willingness to push creative boundaries
- Automotive experience preferred but not required
- Eastern Time working hours required; remote work options available
