Summary Objective
Manages all aspects of small to medium complex projects from inception to conclusion.
Essential Functions
- Manages overall project execution.
- Manages complete project oversite.
- Coordinates, manages, and directs project kick-offs.
- Conduct engineering kick-off meeting.
- Review contracts.
- Coordinates the reviews and comments on the scope of work, contract, specifications, and supplementary client documentation.
- Generates and obtains management approval of an execution plan.
- Monitors and updates project schedules to ensure milestones are met.
- Collaborates with other departments to resolve issues that arise during the project life cycle.
- Ensures and/or documentation and other client deliverables are submitted in a timely manner.
- Coordinates between internal resources, clients, vendors, sub-contractors, contractors, and technicians throughout execution.
- Directs fabrication, installation, and start-up issues throughout execution.
- Coordinates and directs in-progress inspections at fabrication shop.
- Calculates building costs to generate change orders and provides backup documentation.
- Generates project budgets (CAVs) and modifies, as necessary, over the course of the project life cycle.
- Creates and maintain a detailed cash flow and man-hours usage to ensure the project stays on budget.
- Creates reports and projections for various levels within the organization.
- Completes project closeout (i.e., punch list items, client final acceptance, etc.); and
- Responsible for warranty requests by generating and executing a corrective action plan.
- Manages overall project Leadership and decision-making (through proper channels).

- Managing all NPI gate-1 requirements are fully satisfied.
- Attend/participate in NPI gate reviews.
- Leads client interface, communications, and management.
- Manages Budget development and Timeline development oversite.
- Manages scope management: ECO, COR & rebase line.
- Attend/participate in NPI gate reviews.
- Manages and coordinates customer communication.
- Prepares for ISO 9001 and other audits.

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Work Location
This position will work out of our Jacksonville, FL sites. This position is not approved for telecommuting or working remotely.
Work Environment
This job generally operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at fabrication shops and job sites.
Job safety needs to always be considered the top priority.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee must frequently lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. The first shift days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
Travel is primarily not required except for local travel during the business day. Additionally, some projects may require out-of-state, out-of-country, and overnight travel up to 20%.
Required Education and Experience.
- Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or management related discipline
- A minimum of 3 years of international experience in project and / or construction management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and enterprise resource planning
Preferred Education and Experience
- Master’s degree in construction, engineering, or management related discipline
- 5 years’ experience in the power, oil & gas, data center and / or district energy industries
- Certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent.
