• Lead the design, architecture, and delivery of AI-enabled internal tools and automation systems across multiple functions
• Transform complex and ambiguous business problems into scalable technical solutions with rapid prototyping and validation
• Establish reusable frameworks, governance, and standards for AI workflows, agentic systems, and automation architectures
• Integrate AI systems with existing platforms, third-party services, and internal infrastructure to enhance efficiency and decision-making
• Mentor engineers through architectural guidance, code review, and technical leadership, elevating team capabilities
• Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Communications teams to align AI strategy, prioritize initiatives, and communicate technical decisions
• Ensure reliability, safety, and human-in-the-loop oversight in AI systems with monitoring, guardrails, and observability frameworks

Requirements:

• 8–12+ years of professional software engineering experience with ownership of complex systems or internal tools
• Proven expertise designing and shipping AI-driven systems, including experience with LLM APIs, agentic frameworks, orchestration tools, or automated decision systems
• Strong full-stack engineering skills, including front-end prototypes, backend services, API integrations, and cloud infrastructure
• Experience defining architectural standards, engineering patterns, and guiding technical teams through strategic decisions
• Deep understanding of security, privacy, data governance, and reliability practices for AI-augmented systems
• Excellent cross-functional communication, collaboration, and influence skills to guide stakeholders and teams in ambiguous contexts
• Demonstrated ability to rapidly prototype, iterate, and scale AI-powered systems while maintaining long-term architectural integrity
