About This Position

Pathways to Community is looking for a leader with proven maintenance experience to lead the Property Management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
  • Supervision and oversight of property management personnel.
  • Evaluate the short-term and long-term needs for each work location the company owns.
  • Manage multiple projects for the work locations and delete tasks to other property management personnel to ensure the properties are being maintained, repaired, and meet state and licensing requirements in the most cost-effective manner.
  • Coordinate capital expenses by obtaining bids from contractors/vendors, assigning contractors/vendors, supervision of contractors/vendors, and coordination of payment with finance..
  • Oversight of maintenance logs, either directly entering information or ensuring the Property Management team keeps the logs up to date.
  • Oversight and maintenance of company owned tools and equipment used by the Property Management team.
  • Ensure the Property Management team follows safety standards when work is being performed, during transportation from location to location, as well when handling materials and equipment.
  • Update and maintain landscaping as well as complete lawn care such as mowing, weeding, trimming, tree removal, concrete and/or block work, and mortar repair.
  • Perform snow removal at program sites as well as application of de-icing materials as needed.
  • General maintenance/upkeep of homes to include carpentry, drywall, painting, doors, windows, and flooring.
  • Identify plumbing, electrical, mold mitigation, and roof repair need to coordinate services for repair.
  • Coordination of appliance repair/replacement, as needed.
  • Coordinate maintenance on company vehicle as required per the lease.
Position Details:
  • Full-time, exempt
  • Monday through Friday, day hours. However, must be flexible and be available to respond to an emergency.
  • Benefits:
    • Medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, company paid life insurance short term and long-term disability, employee assistance program, pet insurance, 401k (match on first anniversary), 13 paid holidays, and PTO.
    • Company vehicle with mileage from one work site to another. Some personal miles allowed per year.
  • Salary: $69,000-$75,000/annually
​​​​​​​Work Conditions:
The employee will work in a variety of settings, such as residential and crisis housing that supports individuals with varying degrees of disabilities. The employee will also work outside with different weather conditions. In the scope of duties, the employee will be exposed to different chemicals (household and/or job related, such as paint, paint remover, W-D 40, etc.). The employee will be required to travel to different work locations throughout the metro area. The employee will be required to use a ladder as well as other tools and equipment necessary to perform the job task.
