About This Position
Foothills Regional Housing "FRH" is a prominent real estate developer, manager, and program administrator for affordable housing. FRH is currently looking for a Assistant Leasing Professional, the role of the FRH Assistant Leasing Professional requires high energy, a desire to make a real difference in people's lives, and a commitment to anticipate and exceed the expectations of our residents and customers. This diverse role combines sales, customer service, and marketing to Lease apartment homes and builds excellent relationships with future applicants and residents. The qualified candidate is an energetic self-starter who enjoys working in a team environment with staff and clientele to maximize the FRH portfolio occupancy.
Requirements:DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES:
1. Follow FRH, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA) policies, procedures, rules, and regulations, where applicable. Must have or acquire a working knowledge of all pertinent rules regulations applicable to the position, including the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Program, HUD Multi-Family rules, Fair Housing, HCV, and appropriate leasing procedures.
2. Answer and return all calls or correspondence promptly, with the highest level of customer service. Greet prospective residents and show the property and its features in accordance with established procedures.
3. Schedule appointments and conduct in-person visits as requested by the FRH Leasing Professional; record all traffic in weekly reports and in YARDI.
4. Assist in the leasing process by pre-qualifying prospects in accordance with compliance and company procedures.
5. Maintain thorough product knowledge of the property, sister properties, and competitors.
6. Maintains the utmost confidentiality of all client, applicant and tenant information.
7. Calls new residents to see how they are settling in, calls prior to renewals to see how their living experience has been.
8. Accurately prepare and be thoroughly knowledgeable with all lease-related paperwork. This includes processing housing applications, preparing move-in information, and lease files.
9. General clerical assistance including but not limited to answering phones, taking messages, and filing.
10. Meets deadlines as assigned and demonstrates excellent attention to detail.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILTIES:
· Must be able to read and write the English language in a professional, legible manner in order to complete job assignments.
· Must possess and be able to use and apply common sense understanding and use good judgment daily.
· Must be able to work well with others.
· Must be able to handle stressful, urgent, diverse situations in a calm and reasonable manner.
· Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, emotional stability, and personal maturity.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Minimum one year experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
· Knowledge working with HCV, 50059, and Low-Income Housing Tax Credits preferred but not required.
· Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
· YARDI experience is preferred but not required.
· Requires a valid drivers license and the ability to be insured at standard rates.
· Criminal background checks required.
PAY RANGE: $19.23 to $25 per hour

WORKING CONDITIONS:
· Physical Demands: The position is in an office setting. In the office it is primarily sedentary but requires the ability to move boxes or items weighing a maximum of 20 pounds; positioning oneself to maintain files in filing cabinets; ability to operate personal computers and office equipment; ability to observe documents and record and interpret information; ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange information in these situations.
· Work Environment: Works in a clean, comfortable environment in the office.
· Equipment Used: Frequently uses standard office equipment including but not limited to personal computers, scanners, calculators, printers, telephones, fax, and copy machines.
