We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Associate to join our growing Facilities team. As a Facilities Maintenance Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring our facilities are clean, safe and kept up to date. You will also assist our Maintenance Supervisor with light maintenance duties to include perform routine maintenance tasks, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary repairs. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be critical to your success in this role. Ultimately, you will play a key role in ensuring that our facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained.
Location: Dallas, TX
Here's a sneak peek at what you'll do
- Keep medical clinics clean and orderly
- Performs heavy cleaning duties, including cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish
- Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control guidelines
- Dusts and damp mops floors following approved procedures
- Sanitize all surfaces following healthcare facility guidelines
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs, fixing leaks, and repairing equipment
- Troubleshoot issues with facilities and equipment, and make necessary repairs
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Collaborate with other members of the maintenance team to ensure that all facilities are well-maintained
- Ensure that all facilities are safe and meet regulatory requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in janitorial and facilities maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience in healthcare is a plus
- Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends as needed
- Ability to travel to multiple clinics in the Dallas area
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check
