About This Position
We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help us design and build scalable, high-performance systems that power our SaaS platforms. You’ll work primarily with Ruby on Rails and Go, building API-first, multi-tenant architectures that serve thousands of users reliably.
You’ll be part of a small, fast-moving team — collaborating closely with product, frontend, and infra engineers — to ship features, improve performance, and make technical decisions that shape the platform’s future. If you enjoy solving hard problems, care about clean architecture, and love building systems that last, you’ll fit right in.
Skills & Qualifications6–10 years of experience in backend or platform engineering.
Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, Go, or similar modern backend frameworks.
Strong understanding of API design, data modeling, distributed systems, and multi-tenant SaaS architecture.
Hands-on experience with MySQL, Redis, and data warehouses like Snowflake.
Comfortable deploying and operating systems on AWS, using Docker and Terraform.
Familiar with CI/CD, monitoring, and performance optimization.
Understands the principles of secure API development, authentication, and authorization.
Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent real-world experience).
Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and APIs for SaaS and web-based products.
Architect scalable, reliable, and cloud-native systems that grow with our customers.
Work closely with frontend, product, and infrastructure teams to deliver smooth, integrated experiences.
Monitor, profile, and optimize performance across services.
Maintain and evolve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
Participate in design and architecture discussions — we value your voice.
Help set engineering best practices and raise the overall technical bar.
Mentor and support other engineers where needed.
You’ll work on meaningful problems that impact real users.
We value autonomy, craftsmanship, and continuous learning.
You’ll have space to experiment, propose improvements, and own what you build.
