About This Position
Remote O&M Technician
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Operations and Maintenance Technician - REMOTE. In this role, you will be pivotal in ensuring the operational reliability and safety of our renewable natural gas facility. You will collaborate with a small team to establish key safety measures and compliance protocols while overseeing daily operational tasks. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to deliver sustainable energy solutions effectively. You will have the opportunity to drive safety improvements and optimize maintenance processes that align with our commitment to environmental responsibility and operational excellence.
Accountabilities- Establish a safety-centric team culture.
- Ensure compliance with DOT requirements and manuals.
- Proactively prevent accidents and enhance safety.
- Drive continuous safety improvement throughout the organization.
- Support investigations and take action on reported incidents.
- Operate and maintain the facility in compliance with permits.
- Develop a proactive equipment maintenance plan.
- Coordinate and perform maintenance activities efficiently.
- Manage records of planned maintenance outages.
- Collaborate to achieve plant production goals.
- Identify upgrades for safety and facility reliability.
- Build a team focused on continual plant reliability improvement.
- Respond to and manage plant issues beyond regular hours.
- Assist Plant Manager in budgeting and cost management.
- Propose cost reductions without compromising safety or production.
- Maintain operator qualification and training programs.
- Revise and develop plant standard operating procedures.
- Handle material orders and approve invoices.
- Cultivate positive relationships with stakeholders.
- Review reports for accuracy and assist in special projects.
- High School graduate, GED, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in industrial operations.
- Valid US drivers license required.
- Experience with Renewable Natural Gas or Natural Gas operations preferred.
- Technical training through military service or trade school desired.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline is a plus.
- Working knowledge of reading system drawings and P&IDs.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated organizational and leadership skills.
