The role is central to shaping go-to-market strategy, portfolio positioning, and segmentation frameworks across multiple customer segments. Working closely with cross-functional leaders in product marketing, sales, finance, and operations, it ensures alignment between strategy and execution. It also plays a critical role in leveraging market intelligence and performance insights to guide investment decisions and competitive differentiation. This is a highly influential position with direct exposure to executive leadership and global commercial priorities.

Accountabilities:

This role is responsible for defining and executing enterprise-level marketing strategy that drives growth, strengthens positioning, and ensures commercial excellence across the portfolio. It requires close collaboration with multiple functions to align strategic direction with operational execution.

  • Lead the development of integrated marketing strategies aligned with revenue and long-term growth objectives
  • Define segmentation, positioning, and value propositions across customer and product portfolios
  • Drive go-to-market strategies for new product launches and strategic initiatives
  • Oversee market intelligence, competitive analysis, and identification of growth opportunities
  • Own marketing performance frameworks, KPIs, and ROI measurement to optimize investment decisions
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product Marketing, Finance, and Operations to ensure alignment
  • Provide executive-level insights and recommendations to support strategic planning and prioritization
  • Lead and develop a marketing team, fostering capability building and execution excellence
Requirements:

This position requires strong experience in strategic marketing leadership within regulated, complex industries such as life sciences, healthcare, or pharmaceuticals. The ideal candidate combines analytical rigor with strong commercial and leadership capabilities.

  • 10–12+ years of progressive marketing experience, ideally in healthcare, pharma, or life sciences
  • Proven experience in portfolio strategy, segmentation, and go-to-market planning
  • Strong ability to influence senior leadership and drive cross-functional alignment
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing teams
  • Strong commercial acumen with understanding of revenue drivers, pricing, and investment optimization
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate data into strategic insights
  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills
  • Ability to operate in dynamic, fast-paced, and global environments
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred
