SUMMARY OF JOB: | |
The Credit Administration Officer coordinates and provides all reporting for Credit Department and Board Meetings including: Loan Oversight Committee, Risk, Criticized Asset Meetings and others as needed to ensure continuity of operations. This position also serves as the Recording Secretary of the Loan Oversight Committee and Senior Loan Committee. Provide Loan Review on a Credit Perspective. Additionally, this position will manage the Bankers efforts to collect overdrafts of customer accounts. | |

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITES: | |
1. Manage Bankers Overdraft Efforts a. Contact all Officers on accounts that are overdrawn in excess of $1,000 on the date of the overdraft b. Maintain the proof of approval on the overdraft (will require that we produce a new S: file for this history going forward) c. Contact Officers weekly on the accounts that are more than 6 days overdrawn for resolution (Will be a part of the Past Due Meeting) 2. Reporting a. Prepare all reports for the Loan Oversight Committee monthly b. Prepare all reports for the Loan/Risk meeting that occurs every other Wednesday c. Prepare template for the Criticized Asset meeting on a quarterly basis 3. Structured Meetings a. Member of the presentation team for i. Loan Oversight Committee ii. Loan/Risk Meeting iii. Criticized Asset Meeting iv. Past Due Meeting v. Exception Meeting b. Other meetings as designated in the future 4. Recording Secretary a. Loan Oversight Committee b. Criticized Asset Meeting c. Senior Loan Committee 5. Internal Loan Review a. High level review of loans that have been approved i. Ensure that the approval was followed during the booking and boarding process ii. Ensure that all conditions for approval have been followed and satisfied iii. Spot review of construction budgets and draw function for accuracy iv. Spot review of the underwriting for accuracy of financial spreading and other calculations 6. Loan Policy Management a. Act as point person to coordinate and manage all Loan Policy updates/revisions and ensure most current versions are complete, accurate, and published to all Bank associates. 7. External Bank Exams and Reviews a. Assist Chief Risk Officer and Senior Credit Officer in coordinating, facilitating and completing external Loan Reviews with the Bank’s partner, as well as the credit and loan review portion of the Bank’s Safety & Soundness Exams with the FDIC. 8. Maintain current knowledge and follow all bank financial and security regulations and procedures. 9. JOB REQUIREMENTS: | |
Education: | Bachelor’s Degree, preferably Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration. |
Work Experience: | 5+ years of experience in credit analysis and commercial loan underwriting |

Computer Skills: | High level of competency in Word, Excel, Power Point |
Other Requirements: | N/A |
Preferred Skills/Experience | Previous work experience in bank credit department; formal credit training preferred. |
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: | |
Customer Service: | Ability to work effectively with both internal and external contacts. Maintains confidentiality in handling customer and bank information. |
Financial: | Credit underwriting and financial analysis as well as audit on existing loan files. |
Administrative Duties: | Recording Secretary for the Loan Oversight Committee and other committees/meetings as assigned; report generation for other Bank and Credit Department meetings. |
Autonomy: | Yes – Must be able to work autonomously and provide feed back to the credit team. |

The applicant who is selected for this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
• Targeted hiring range based on experience: $65,000 - $85,000 yearly. This range is an estimate based on potential employee qualifications and other considerations permitted by law under the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and Equal Pay Transparency Rules.
• Bonus Eligibility: Annual bonus based on Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the Company Discretion.
