Diesel Truck Mechanic at Skyworks LLC – Washington, New Jersey

Our Washington, NJ branch needs an experienced Diesel Truck Mechanic. This is a Union Position (International Union of Operating Engineers Local 825).

Duties and responsibilities for Diesel Truck Mechanic:

• Performs minor and major repairs on trucks and trailers
• Conducts regular preventative maintenance on service trucks, including tire rotation and oil changes
• Responsible for repairing, modifying and performing preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles
• Responsible for all maintenance to the operation of equipment by completing all required preventive maintenance requirements
• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical malfunctions
• Inspects fleet vehicles to ensure that all vehicles are DOT compliant to include brake maintenance

Qualifications for Diesel Truck Mechanic:

• must have valid Class A CDL
• experience with engine diagnostics tools & software
