Job Overview

California Mantel & Fireplace is seeking a driven, organized, and people-focused Operations Manager to oversee all daily operations at our Anaheim location. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring seamless coordination between sales, installation scheduling, inventory, showroom operations, and customer service. The Operations Manager will play a critical role in driving performance, accountability, and customer satisfaction while maintaining the high standards of craftsmanship and professionalism our brand is known for.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all daily operations at the Anaheim location, including sales, installation scheduling, inventory, and customer service.
  • Manage and maintain showroom operations, ensuring a professional and welcoming presentation at all times.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce standard operating procedures for sales, installation, and customer communication.
  • Monitor, track, and improve key performance metrics, including lead response time, conversion rates, installation completion, and customer satisfaction.
  • Directly manage sales staff, installers, and administrative team members.
  • Establish clear performance expectations and hold team members accountable to professional and operational standards.
  • Conduct regular coaching sessions, performance reviews, and skills development initiatives.
  • Address performance issues promptly and decisively, including disciplinary action when necessary.
  • Foster a culture of respect, professionalism, teamwork, and customer-first service.
  • Lead by example in customer interactions, conflict resolution, and problem-solving.
  • Collaborate with ownership and leadership to identify opportunities for process improvement and growth.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in operations management, preferably within construction, building products, home services, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement systems, procedures, and performance tracking.
  • Strong customer service mindset with the ability to resolve issues professionally.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze operational data and use metrics to drive improvement.
  • Proficiency with scheduling systems, CRM platforms, and standard business software.
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
