Field Technician at Ninyo & Moore – Austin, Texas

Job Description: Ninyo & Moore, a SOCOTEC Company has immediate openings for a construction materials testing (CMT) Field Technician or Senior Field Technician in Austin, Texas. The successful candidate should have a thorough understanding of standard test methods for all tests performed by a field technician, and perform these tests in the field. Duties will include the maintenance of field and laboratory data files, reports, letters, and other pertinent field data. The successful candidate will also maintain clear communications with the Project Manager regarding all aspects of the field operations, such as providing neat and orderly project documents.

Education: ACI Field Technician I & nuclear gauge certifications REQUIRED; NICET preferred.

Required Skills: The successful candidate must have 1 or more years' minimum soil and concrete testing experience (Field Technician) or 5 or more years' experience (Senior Field Technician). Must be able to use a nuclear density gauge. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a positive attitude, good organizational skills, and a strong work ethic are also required. Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
