How you will contribute:

You will contribute by running and maintaining downstream processing equipment with care and precision, helping maximize protein extraction, quality, and safety while working cross-functionally to continuously refine our processes.

What you will be working on:

• Assist with running our downstream process equipment on a daily basis to maximize protein extraction, production, and quality.
• Manage process plumbing lineups with hose hard lines and fittings to and from tanks.
• Interact with internal departments such as R&D, Engineering, Product, and Ops as needed to refine processes.
• Assist with maintenance and repairs of equipment, as needed.
• Perform routine operations such as cleaning in place, sanitizing, solution preparation and charging of processing equipment.
• Adhere to GMP/HACCP/OSHA/Food Safety Standards.
• Interaction with vendors for Pilot Plant maintenance/repairs, as needed.

What you bring to Plantible:

• Some prior experience in food, beverage, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Knowledge of safe work practices in a facility manufacturing environment.
• Experience in basic technical/mechanical manufacturing.
• Ability to do basic math functions (add/subtract/multiply/divide).
• Must be able to convert standard units of measurement.
• Forklift Certification or the ability to complete certification within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to stand 8 + hours a day, stretch, duck, reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift over 50 lbs.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early morning or evening shifts, as needed.
• Experience in chemical processing and automated control systems is a plus.
• Experience in hydroponics/aquaponics is a plus!
