The Spirit of the Position:

The Overnight Supervisor will be in charge of managing one of our working shifts. Duties primarily revolve around the general management of your direct reports, which include, but are not limited to, providing and demonstrating task instructions, keeping attendance, and measuring key performance indicators. You will be expected to keep records and produce reports that will be used to review team performance.

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills and a passion for excellence. Previous leadership experience is a plus.'

Principal Job Duties:

  • Making sure employees that report to you meet performance expectations.
  • Giving instructions or orders to subordinate employees.
  • Ensuring that the work environment is safe, secure and healthy.
  • Meeting deadlines.
  • Approving work hours.
  • Ensure great customer service at all levels.
  • Dispatching with our shuttle drivers.
  • Greeting customers and informing them where to park.
  • Assisting customers during the checkout process if help is needed.
  • Supervisors will be required to drive shuttles periodically.
  • Be flexible for operation needs and schedule (evenings and weekends)
  • Safely operating company vehicles.
  • GET 100 (Greet, Engage, and Thank the Guest - 100% of the time).
  • Assist passengers when boarding and exiting the vehicle including ADA passengers if applicable.
  • Effectively communicating and working in a team environment to achieve maximum productivity.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work self-sufficiently while performing daily tasks as a professional driver.

Requirements:

  • 3+ or more years of driving experience.
  • Comply with Federal DOT, State Rules/Regulations, and Company Policy.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Valid Drivers License with passenger endorsement if applicable for state regulations.
  • Ability to successfully perform and pass a DOT physical examination.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays.
  • Ability to bend at the knees or squat frequently throughout a shift
  • Willingness to work in inclement weather (rain, sleet, snow, heat, high wind, etc.)

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.

Experience:

  • Experience with general facility maintenance required.
  • Experience in customer relations.
  • Parking industry experience is preferred but not required.
  • May need a valid drivers license and be able to operate Maintenance vehicles.

Skills:

  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
  • Willingness to be flexible, work multiple facility locations.
  • Ability to handle challenging and at times, emotionally charged situations.
  • Must be able to work unsupervised.
  • Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.
  • Must be able to make decisions independently and stay firm on decisions made (not easily persuaded).
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and timeliness.
  • Excellent team building and interpersonal skills.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
  • Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
  • Continuously requires vision, hearing and talking.
  • Ability to operate machinery including a golf cart.

Machines, Tools, Equipment and Work Aids: motor vehicle operation, two-way radios, smart phone.

Environmental Factors: Exposure to noise and vibration and physical hazards. Seasonal exposure to extreme temperature and wetness and/or humidity

Non-Physical Demands

  • Occasionally requires emergency situations, irregular schedule/overtime, tedious or exacting work, and noisy/distracting environment.
