About This Position
POSITION SUMMARY: The Facilities Engineering Supervisor works under the direction of the Facilities Engineering Manager and is responsible for coordinating daily work assignments and ensuring the training of Facilities personnel in safety and effective work practices. This role promotes and helps maintain safe working conditions and supports compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements. Under the guidance of the Manager, the Supervisor assists with maintaining compliance programs, trains staff on accessing and maintaining required documentation, and supports the implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma/GED
- A minimum of two years of Hospital/LTC Building Maintenance experience
- A minimum of one year of work experience with Life Safety Code Requirements
- NFPA 99 & NFPA 101 certificates, preferred
