Job Summary:

We are seeking a professional Security Guard Officer to join our team. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to create a safe and secure environment. You will protect our premises, assets, and employees and prevent any illegal or inappropriate occurrences. The ideal candidate has experience with public safety and security and operates with a high degree of integrity at all times.

Responsibilities:

• MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS.
• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Check-in and verify all residents and/or guests attempting to gain property access.
• Call residents and verify guests are allowed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for gate guard roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Must have a valid FL driver's license.
• Must have a valid security guard D license.

• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Employment eligibility verification will be completed as required by law.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Security Guard or in a similar position is preferred.
• High school diploma/GED is required.
• Strong understanding of public safety and security procedures.
• Excellent written communication skills and report writing ability.
• Ability to operate surveillance equipment.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
• Attention to detail and strong observational skills.
• Ability to work without direct supervision.
