About This Position

The Vice President, Supply Chain Operations will be responsible for overseeing the overall Entity operations and financial management of the Supply Chain Operations for the entire organization. The Vice President, Supply Chain Operations will be responsible for helping build capabilities consistent with both short- and long-term goals, and the development and execution of Supply Chain's transformation strategy (operational efficacy, holistic approach to expense management, total cost of care, clinical Supply Chain integration, business intelligence, service improvement).

Essential Functions:

• Develop and implement continuous Supply Chain improvements efforts across all operational areas of department (short term and long-term performance road map).

• Successfully integrates Supply Chain services - align departmental strategies in support of organizational priorities. Establishes integration through the development of executive alignment.

• Develop standardized department goals, objectives, performance standards and priorities that are appropriately tracked and executed on.

• Provide executive oversight to overall Supply Chain Operations and ensure professional and effective service is being delivered.

• Collaborate with Financial Leadership on Cost Containment and Variance explanations related to Supply Expense performance.

• Work with system, market and hospital leadership to develop plans and execution strategies to meet current and future needs.

Background, Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor 's degree in business or finance required.

• Master's degree in finance, business, healthcare administration, logistics required.

• 10 years' progressive healthcare, supply chain or relevant industry leadership experience required.

• 15 years' experience as Director or above leadership position overseeing large scale operations (100 FTEs) required.

• Strong Relationship Building (End-Users and C-suite level).

• Proven Leadership and Team Building Skills, Strategic Thinking and Visioning, Analytical and Data-Driven Decision-Making, Cross-Functional Collaboration, Operational Excellence, Risk Management and Resilience Planning, Strong Communication Skills, Change Management, Strong Executive Functioning Skills, Proven Ability to Influence and Motivate.
