Teacher-Smoketown Head Start at Ohio Valley Educational Cooperative – Louisville, Kentucky

JOB TITLE: TEACHER (Full Day Full Year and Center Based)

JOB SUMMARY: The Teacher will manage the running of the classroom, conduct home visits and conferences, provide playground supervision of children, prepare materials for learning activities, guide children in learning activities, provide a safe and sanitary environment for children, and work with parents in reference to planning for children’s needs. The Teacher will supervise the Teacher Assistant and Floater.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Associate or bachelor’s degree in child development or early childhood education, or equivalent coursework.

COMPENSATION: $22.43- $35.93 Based on Education and Experience.
Minimum being AA degree in IECE or ECE and Maximum being Masters Degree in IECE or ECE and 10 years of experience.
