Locations/Shifts: Our Milledgeville, GA facility is hiring for Production Operators - Full Time 1st shift (7am to 3pm).

Job Description: Our Production Operator positions are truly the heart of our company. In this position, you may perform various manufacturing tasks, including injection-, compression- and transfer-molding, die-cutting, assembly, quality audits, and inspection. Vernay prioritizes safety, and training is provided throughout each level as you grow with the company. You will work with machinery and tooling, including presses, molds, die-cutting equipment, and robotic automation. You will learn how to set up and operate equipment and enter process data into our ERP system. Vernay manufactures products in both medical cleanroom and non-cleanroom environments. If you work in the cleanroom, you will wear medical gowning and PPE apparel, including masks, booties, and hairnets. The entire facility is air-conditioned, and the medical cleanroom is climate and air-quality controlled.

Qualifications: One year of manufacturing experience is required. You should enjoy working with your hands and get a sense of satisfaction from building and creating quality parts that will serve medical, automotive, small engine, and beverage dispensing customers.

A high school diploma or GED is required.

Compensation and Benefits: Will accrue vacation at a rate of 80 hours in the first year. On the 5th anniversary date, the vacation will increase to 120 hours. Vernay offers 96 hours of paid holiday per year.
