- Maintain and enhance mature, production-grade software products and supporting tools used in global eLearning systems
- Design and write technical specifications for new features and system improvements before implementation
- Develop full-stack web features, ensuring performance, scalability, security, and maintainability across systems
- Take ownership of features from design through deployment, including coding, testing, and QA validation
- Identify opportunities for product improvements based on customer feedback and engineering insights
- Collaborate in lightweight agile ceremonies while maintaining strong autonomy in day-to-day execution
- Contribute to mentoring junior engineers and sharing technical knowledge across the team
- Participate in continuous improvement of engineering practices, tooling, and development workflows
- Strong experience in full-stack web development using modern languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with frontend frameworks (e.g., Vue, React) and solid knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Experience building and maintaining scalable, secure, and performant web applications
- Familiarity with automated testing practices including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Understanding of software development lifecycle practices including agile, version control, and CI/CD workflows
- Experience working with cloud environments such as AWS and modern deployment workflows
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and support teams
- Ability and willingness to learn new technologies and work across multiple programming languages
