About This Position

The Marketing Coordinator I works in the Community Outreach Department under the supervision of the Manager/Director of Communications. The main responsibilities include:
• Producing the weekly employee email newsletter (The Leaf)
• Maintaining and updating the CMH Exchange intranet system
• Utilizing Constant Contact or other email marketing software to send email campaigns
• Assisting with planning content for, posting to and monitoring the company’s social media accounts
• Writing and editing copy for a variety of internal and external communications, including new provider announcements
• Creating printed and digital content through graphic design
Knowledge of/Skill/Ability to:
Ability to complete a high volume of editorial and graphic design work requiring multitasking and prioritization within an approved budget and timeline. Ability to research and write for a variety of audiences in a variety of formats. Ability to work with other creative professionals and vendors to produce desired results. Ability to develop and maintain positive internal and external customer relationships. Ability to work with confidential information, law enforcement and security issues. Ability to work independently, using initiative and good judgment. Ability to work with diverse individuals. Work well in a team environment and can resolve conflicts with professionalism and tact. Meticulous attention to detail.
License/Certification

Education and/or Experience
Undergraduate degree in related field, such as journalism, communications, marketing or graphic design or equivalent years of related marketing and communications experience substituted in lieu of a degree. At least one year of experience in media relations, journalism and/or marketing and at least one year of experience in graphic design preferred. Experience with AP Style and Adobe Creative Suite preferred. Familiarity with social media and email marketing software preferred. Experience with large complex organizations, nonprofits and/or health care desired.
Physical Demands and Work Environment Conditions / ADA Compliance
Position involves standing, walking, stooping, and occasional carrying and lifting of lightweight materials (up to 20 pounds). May be required to sit for extended periods of time. Requires visual acuity and depth perception to recognize words and numbers; and hand and finger dexterity and hand/eye coordination to use a computer keyboard and common office equipment.
