Scheduler- Ord Medical Clinic at Valley County Health System – Ord, Nebraska

Valley County Health System (VCHS) Ord Medical Clinic has a great career opportunity available for a full-time Medical Clinic Scheduler to join our team. This position will work 40 hours per week primarily at the Ord location with some travel to Loup City and Burwell. This position includes a Saturday morning rotation.

JOB SUMMARY: Responsibilities include scheduling patient medical clinic appointments, receiving and directing patients and visitors to the appropriate areas of the facility, processing various paperwork and performing clerical duties to support the daily business activities of the clinic.

REQUIREMENTS: • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred • Strong working knowledge of business office or medical office practices • Experience with computers, multi-line telephones, copiers and fax machines • Independent problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills and self-directed work experience • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
