About This Position
SUMMARY: The Office Administrator will support daily office operations through a combination of administrative tasks, customer service, and medical billing assistance. This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and comfort with technology in a fast-paced environment. This role is performed fully on-site and requires consistent in-person attendance during scheduled hours.
Requirements:Essential Duties
- Reports to work on time for all scheduled shifts and completes entire shift.
- Provide general administrative support including data entry, filing, and document management
- Understands and adheres to HIPPA regulations and requirements at all times.
- Assist with medical billing tasks such as verifying information, claim submission support, and follow-ups
- Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and provide professional customer service
- Maintain accurate and organized records with a high level of attention to detail
- Troubleshoot basic computer or system issues and assist staff as needed
- Follows established safety standards and procedures and complies with legal regulations
- Participate in assigned project work.
- Support overall office operations and assist team members as needed
Qualifications/Requirements
- Previous administrative experience required
- Ability to work independently, organize tasks, and meet established deadlines.
- Must have medical billing experience
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel
- Basic technical troubleshooting skills (comfortable, not advanced IT)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively with staff and clients.
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment

This position operates in a clinical laboratory/medical practice environment with potential exposure to communicable diseases and biological specimens, including body fluids. While performing the duties of this role, the employee is regularly required to communicate verbally and audibly. Frequent use of hands and fingers for handling specimens, tools, and equipment is required. The employee may be required to stand, walk, sit, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or occasionally climb.
The role may require lifting and/or moving up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Hours:
Typical work hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5 pm
May need to work occasional pre-approved overtime.
