Lowboy Driver at Palmetto Corp. of Conway – Greer, South Carolina

The Lowboy Driver is responsible for safely transporting construction equipment between job sites using a lowboy trailer. This role requires the ability to load, secure, and unload heavy equipment while maintaining compliance with safety regulations and company policies. The driver must also conduct regular mechanical and safety inspections of the vehicle and report any issues promptly.

• Load and unload various types of construction equipment.
• Safely transport equipment to and from job sites.
• Secure all loads in accordance with DOT safety standards.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections for mechanical and safety issues.
• Maintain accurate delivery and inspection records.
• Comply with all federal, state, and local driving laws and regulations.

• Follow OSHA, DOT, and company safety protocols at all times.
• Maintain a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and current medical card.

Report any safety or mechanical concerns to the Trucking Foreman immediately.

• Required:
• • Class A CDL
  • Clean 10 Year MVR
• Preferred:
• • 5 years of commercial driving experience
  • 1+ year of lowboy trailer experience
  • 5 years of clean driving history
