| Job Summary | The University of Kentucky, in collaboration with the Kentucky Department for Public Health, is seeking a Rural Health Transformation (RHT) Kentucky Rural Dental Access Program Portfolio Manager to join the RHT leadership team. This position will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating a complex portfolio of Kentucky Rural Dental Access Program services and initiatives for the state. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the effective management & measurement of successful use of resources, monitoring program performance, and implementing strategic improvements to enhance healthcare delivery and outcomes of the Kentucky Rural Dental Access program. Responsibilities will include (but not limited to): 1. Provide comprehensive portfolio and program management support to RHTP director and leadership team, including administrative and project portfolio tasks. 2. Consolidate and deliver monthly status updates. 3. Offer project management (PM) and technical support to Kentucky Rural Dental Access Program area leads to ensure the standardization of project requirements and implementation strategies. 4. Oversees and directs staff involved in measuring Kentucky Rural Dental Access Program success to measured goals as required. 5. Supports leadership, implementing a monitoring process across Kentucky Rural Dental Access Program components, vendors and assisting with contract compliance. 6. Provide guidance on project funding, liaising with Finance to secure and monitor funding utilization for all RHT projects. |
| Skills / Knowledge / Abilities | Experience with rural and public health dentistry initiatives and program development. Knowledge of federal waiver programs and/or federally funded programs. Experience with health/governmental contracting, oversight & evaluation of program success across multiple governmental/healthcare related initiatives. Background in healthcare quality measurement and improvement, as well as success/demonstrated experience with programmatic/governmental information systems and data analytics. |

| Preferred Education/Experience | DMD, MPH, PhD, DrPH degree with focus on dentistry/oral health. Minimum of 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare or governmental health program management, preferably in Medicaid or other government healthcare health related policy programs. |
