Job Overview:
Company: Flynn Construction Management General Contracting, Inc.
Salary/Pay Rate: $80,000 - $110,000 per year.
Location: 90% - 100% Nationwide Travel.
Job/Employment Type: Full Time.
Project Scope: Fitness centers, hospitality, and retail construction.
Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: None Required.
The Opportunity: You will serve as the primary field leader for national commercial projects, utilizing proven systems to deliver high-quality results for major national clients. This role offers the chance to lead repeatable, structured builds where your expertise in field-driven execution is supported by established schedules and documented procedures. You will have the autonomy to manage jobsites across the country while being backed by a leadership team that prioritizes communication over chaos.
How You Will Make an Impact:
Directed day-to-day jobsite operations to ensure projects remained on schedule and strictly aligned with contract plans.
Coordinated subcontractors and field activities to maintain an efficient workflow and meet aggressive project timelines.
Maintained accurate daily job logs and documentation using company tools to ensure project transparency.
Inspected all work to verify it met rigorous quality standards and was installed correctly the first time.
Scheduled and coordinated critical inspections while documenting completed work to prevent project delays.
Communicated project status and potential challenges to the Project Manager to facilitate real-time problem solving.
Managed scope changes and oversaw the final punch list completion to ensure a seamless project handover.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum of 35 years of experience serving as a Superintendent within the commercial construction industry.
Proven leadership experience in managing subcontractors and directing active jobsite operations.
Absolute willingness to travel extensively (90100%) to various project assignments nationwide.
Solid understanding of construction sequencing, quality control, and safety practices.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work physically on active, fast-paced jobsites.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
Demonstrated experience in executing repeatable retail or hospitality builds for national accounts.
Advanced proficiency in using digital documentation tools for daily field reports and logs.
Strong history of meeting aggressive schedules without compromising quality or safety protocols.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive annual salary between $80,000 and $110,000 based on experience.
