SUMMARY: This position is primarily responsible for assisting in communication and engagement with our Trade Partners and coordinating Marketing and Sales activities with external accounts to ensure they exceed their goals at the lowest possible cost of sale. This is achieved by utilizing various tools, resources, technology, and virtual platforms while performing the following duties.
- Manage partnerships and relationships with third parties, such as national accounts and travel agencies.
- Work closely with the National Accounts Team to support plans to increase revenue and market share with established national and key accounts.
- Maintain logs and calendar of activities and events, not limited to Conferences, Trade Shows, Webinars, and Calls to ensure proper tracking and coverage.
- Ensure proper collateral is ordered and shipped in a timely manner to support all activities throughout the year.
- Provide content (copy, images, etc.) for review of marketing collateral, such as direct mail, e-blasts, and flyers.
- Liaise with external account contacts and internal Marketing and Sales team members to develop marketing/communication materials.
- Ensure accuracy and optimization of third-party marketing materials.
- Develop product and destination knowledge in an independent fashion.
- Develop and maintain content for external account websites and online forums.
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing departments to develop PowerPoint presentations.
- Works closely with Field Sales, Strategic Partner Networks, and National Accounts to ensure they are exceeding their goals at the lowest possible cost of sale and assist on various trade sales related tasks.
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating Seminars on the Rivers and familiarization (FAM) trips, when applicable.
- Communicate with Reservation Support for agency updates for Primary Contact List.
- Help collect and facilitate Secondary Phone Field information for Reservation Support and System Data teams.
- Attend and contribute to weekly Sales meeting.
- Collaborate with various departments including Accounting, Operations, and Sales for reporting.
- Assist with travel agency co-op marketing programs, including collaboration with Marketing, Group, and Promotions teams to ensure co-op advertisements and flyers meet all brand objectives.
- Log approved invoices on Invoice Tracker and forward to accounting for processing.
- Assist other departments on special projects as needed.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure tasks are completed as assigned.
- Work with Business Development Managers (BDMs) to ensure current agency agreements and marketing plans are fully executed.
- Log and manage BDM tool kit, adhering to approved budget.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
- This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
- Bachelor's Degree (BA) from a four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Computer skills required: Microsoft Office Suite; Project Management Software, Database Software, Internet Software, Spreadsheet Software, Word Processing Software, Electronic Mail Software, Presentation Software, Reservation Software, Phone Software.
