You will act as a key partner to community oncology practices and health systems, driving account growth, compliance, and long-term value creation. The role requires close collaboration with sales, medical, legal, billing, and digital health teams to support seamless account operations. You will also play a central role in guiding clients through structured onboarding, training, and laboratory integration processes. Operating in a fast-paced and highly regulated environment, this position blends strategic account management with hands-on execution and cross-functional leadership.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will lead the strategic management and growth of laboratory collaboration accounts while ensuring strong operational execution and compliance across all partnerships. You will develop tailored account strategies, manage contract evolution, and serve as the primary point of coordination between clients and internal teams.

  • Develop and execute customized account strategies for Laboratory Collaboration Initiative (LCI) clients, ensuring alignment with business objectives and partnership goals
  • Manage ongoing client relationships, contract updates, renewals, and enhancements in collaboration with Legal and internal stakeholders
  • Lead onboarding and gating/training processes to enable client independence and effective laboratory workflow integration
  • Coordinate cross-functional support across sales, medical, reimbursement, digital health, finance, and client success teams to ensure seamless account delivery
  • Facilitate Quarterly Business Reviews and ongoing performance discussions with key clients and stakeholders
  • Monitor compliance with contractual, regulatory, and operational requirements, ensuring adherence to healthcare laws and standards
  • Identify opportunities for account expansion, optimization, and improved service delivery based on performance insights and market dynamics
  • Provide leadership with actionable intelligence on account performance, competitive activity, and industry trends
Requirements

This role requires a strong background in healthcare commercial operations, diagnostics, or strategic account management, with experience navigating complex, regulated environments and multi-stakeholder ecosystems.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in diagnostics, healthcare, biopharma, or strategic account management roles
  • Proven success managing large, complex healthcare accounts or integrated health system partnerships
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, False Claims Act)
  • Experience working across cross-functional teams in highly matrixed environments
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive account growth, retention, and operational excellence
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to operate in fast-paced, high-compliance, and evolving healthcare environments
  • Oncology or diagnostics sales experience is strongly preferred
  • Willingness to travel up to 60%
