This role sits at the center of global Medical Affairs strategy, driving the planning and execution of high-impact scientific engagement initiatives across U.S., EU, and APAC regions. You will lead the end-to-end strategy for advisory boards and play a key role in shaping congress planning and execution, ensuring alignment with broader medical and scientific priorities. Acting as a cross-functional connector, you will collaborate closely with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Research, and Commercial teams to ensure consistent and compliant scientific communication. The position requires a strong blend of strategic thinking and operational excellence, with responsibility for governance, vendor oversight, and budgeting. You will also ensure insights from stakeholder engagements are captured and translated into actionable strategies. This is a highly visible leadership role within a fast-paced, innovation-driven biotech environment focused on advancing oncology programs.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the global strategy, planning, and execution of advisory boards across U.S., EU, and APAC regions, ensuring alignment with Medical Affairs priorities and congress strategies.
  • Design and oversee advisory board agendas, governance frameworks, and compliant execution processes, including cross-functional insight sharing and documentation.
  • Drive global and regional congress planning, ensuring consistency of scientific messaging and integration with advisory board outputs and medical strategy.
  • Manage end-to-end operational execution including vendor oversight, budgeting, logistics, and compliance with global regulatory standards.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Research, and Commercial teams to align scientific engagement priorities and deliverables.
  • Establish best practices, SOPs, and scalable operating models to enhance stakeholder engagement effectiveness and organizational efficiency.
  • Capture, analyze, and disseminate scientific insights in collaboration with analytics teams to inform strategy and decision-making.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in Medical Affairs within biotech or pharmaceutical organizations, including significant global congress and advisory board leadership experience.
  • Advanced degree in life sciences (MS, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent).
  • Proven expertise in designing and executing global advisory boards across multiple regions (U.S., EU, APAC).
  • Strong understanding of oncology therapeutic areas and clinical development environments.
  • Deep knowledge of compliance frameworks governing scientific exchange, congresses, and advisory activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives in highly matrixed organizations.
  • Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Experience managing budgets, vendors, and operational planning at a global scale.
