Revenue Cycle Manager at Flourish Research

We have an opening for a Manager of Revenue Cycle to join our growing Revenue Cycle department at Flourish Research.
The Revenue Cycle Manager is an enterprise leader responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end revenue cycle process across Flourish Research’s site network. This role ensures timely and accurate revenue capture, billing, collections, and cash application while driving process improvements, supporting site integrations, and partnering closely with Accounting, site leadership, and operational teams to strengthen financial performance and operational efficiency across the organization.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Normal Business Hours or as needed
Location: Remote (occassional travel may be required)
FLSA Classification: Exempt
Compensation: $90k-$115k base salary + 15% annual discretionary bonus

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and enhance revenue cycle standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and scalability across sites
- Oversee key functional areas including invoicing, collections, cash application, dispute resolution, and revenue adjustments
- Review and approve material revenue adjustments proposed by the AR team
- Partner with Collections to resolve aged accounts receivable balances and improve collection performance
- Collaborate with Accounting to ensure ledger reconciliation with AR aging and support reserve assessments
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and lead revenue cycle improvement initiatives across the enterprise
- Support Day 1 integration activities for newly acquired sites, including evaluation of AR resources and workflows
- Assist with external audit requests related to revenue cycle processes and documentation
- Lead regular team meetings to review performance, address challenges, and set priorities
- Manage hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and resource allocation across revenue cycle teams
- Partner with leadership on training initiatives and enterprise projects impacting revenue operations
- Act as a change agent supporting shared services initiatives and organizational transformation
- Represent Flourish Research professionally and courteously in all interactions with staff, clients, and vendors
- Provide ad hoc reporting and operational insights to support leadership decision-making
- Other responsibilities as assigned by senior management
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required
Experience:
- 5+ years of revenue cycle management experience
- Experience within clinical research or healthcare revenue cycle environments
- Strong understanding of billing compliance, contractual interpretation, and AR processes
- Experience supporting multi-site operations and process standardization
- Experience with CTMS systems (RealTime or similar) preferred
- Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems a plus
- Proficiency in Excel, including formulas and pivot tables
Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong leadership, change management, and process improvement capabilities
- Ability to drive accountability and compliance with standard operating procedures
- Experience planning, organizing, and directing resources to optimize workflows
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing competing priorities
