Therapist (LCSW OR LMHC ONLY) at Evolve Psychiatry – Massapequa, New York

THIS IS A 1099 POSITION!
We are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and experienced therapists to join our growing psychiatry practice. As an independent contractor (1099), you will provide high-quality therapy services to individuals or couples with various mental health challenges. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and the ability to work well with all different types of patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and/or couples therapy
- Ability to navigate our EMR system eClincalWorks or the ability to learn the system
- Create and implement treatment plans tailored to client needs
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in regular supervision and/or case consultations (if applicable)
- Uphold confidentiality and ethical guidelines in all client interactions
- Stay updated on best practices and continuing education in the field
- Manage your own caseload
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
- Current NEW YORK licensure in one of the following:
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Previous experience in providing therapy
- eClinicalWorks (ECW) experience a plus but not required
